Feeling tired? A bit overwhelmed? Feeling under resourced? Thinking that in the midst of relief work happening in Tohoku that the CPI National Conference is less relevant to your ministry this year? We want you to know that every member of the CPI leadership team since 3.11 has been heavily involved in Tohoku in disaster response ministry. We are wrestling too with what ministry means in the “NEW NORMAL.” We debated cancelling the conference, but felt it was way too important this year to cancel.

At a time when many overseas are praying for Japan we want to come together and allow God to touch us and encourage us and send us out as people ready to see a NEW WAVE OF CHURCH PLANTING INITIATIVES across Japan.

We also want you to know that we have RESOURCES there for missionaries, Japanese pastors and lay people interested in church planting multiplication. We have speakers and trainers from the Japanese context to bless us. This year we will be introducing a totally new interactive format. This will better allow us to pursue God’s will for us and Japan.

Along with the normal training is community worship, children’s and youth ministry programs and a resource area. We also have our consultation center that might help us all plan to stay healthy in ministry or get help when we are struggling.

Martin Crowhurst (WEC) and the CPI Leadership Team

Registration for the 2011 CPI National Conference is now open! Registration closes October 28th. Please go to http://conf.jcpi.net to Register.
